My name is Richie Modeste I was born in Grenada 1997. I started doing art at the St. Mark’s secondary school where I learned the areas in art and what I wanted to do in my spare time. One day in 2017 sister Margaret, principal of the new life organisation (NEWLO), announced that Prince Harry was coming to Grenada asked if anyone could do a portrait of him and so I did it. The portrait was done in coloured pencils it was one of the best coloured pencil work I had done. When I met Prince Harry I presented it to him as a gift he was overwhelmed by my painting he loved it. I love doing art because it helps me bring my creative side to life and helps people smile more than they normally do while feeling excited, free and happy.
