Ashlee Marshall, 1996
Ashlee Marshall is a Grenadian Abstract Artist who expresses her unique experiences through her colourful pieces. From a very young age, she possessed an undeniable interest in creating that has only progressed. Her preferred medium is acrylic paint and she is known for her neat painting style. She believes that visual art conveys messages that cannot be explained using words. With art being her purpose in life, the Artist acquired an Associate Degree in Art & Design and Business Management which further gave direction to and propelled her art career. She also acquired a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology as mental health is often an important theme. The duality of her artwork is that it represents troubling as well as inspiring aspects of herself and her surroundings. Through painting, she feels a sense of autonomy in an unpredictable world.
