The Waving Art Gallery, located on the second floor of the Maurice Bishop International Airport is made possible through a partnership between the Grenada Arts Council and the Grenada Airport Authority. This space allows Grenada Arts Council to promote and showcase Grenada’s local artists to visitors and locals alike; joining the many international airports who recognise art as a way of communicating the best things about our society.
Exhibits are usually rotated every 6 weeks. The space is largely non-commercial as there is no gallery attendant. Typically we want to see small bodies of work vs. individual pieces and we generally try to group artists in exhibits of 3+ artists.
